From the AP:

A 38-year-old attorney from Mount Pleasant says he intends to seek the Democratic nomination to challenge Sen. Lindsey Graham in 2008.

Michael Cone says he’s never held public office but wants to get people involved in politics. Cone says he’s against illegal immigration and wants to see some major public works projects aimed at reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil.

Cone is a 1991 Citadel graduate and attended the University of South Carolina’s School of Law. He is in private practice in Mount Pleasant, and his firm focuses on estate planning and civil litigation.
