Music Unlimited hosts a two-night, student/teacher gig titled School’s In: Student/Teacher Concert on Fri. Oct. 16 and Sat. Oct. 17 at the Windjammer (1008 Ocean Blvd.). Founded in 2006 as "the Lowcountry’s first school of rock," the local organization regularly offers private instruction by some of Charleston’s finest musicians and instructors (guitars, drums, keys, vocals, etc.).

Director Chris Holly and the staff host the MU Rocks Summer Camp for teenage students who want to learn more about playing in bands, writing songs, stage performance, and other aspects of the biz. Next weekend’s fund-raising stint features Holly and many special guests. It’s a great opportunity to check out some of the future stars in the local scene.

Visit and for more.
