Two drinks, please
Abby Davis of Charleston would like to spend her dream dinner with close friends and family while enjoying seafood, a saucy Mexican dish and a delectable, drinkable dessert.
DREAM DINNER GUESTS: “My friends and family from near and far. There are no better people to spend an evening with!”
DRINK: Mexican Martini from Rancho Lewis. “This drink is perfect, but proceed with caution. If you drink it too fast, you might find yourself on the floor before your food comes.”
APPETIZER: Smoked Mahi dip from Leon’s Oyster Shop. “It’s the perfect balance of smoky and salty, and those fried saltines are to die for. Spritz a little fresh lemon and hot sauce on top and you have yourself the perfect appetizer.”
ENTREE: Mole Verde from Maya. “I only need two words to describe why I love this dish so much: that sauce. The market fish may change, but you could put that sauce on any dish at Maya and it would instantly become my favorite.”
DESSERT: Espresso martini from Big John’s Tavern. “ I’m a sucker for a good espresso martini, and Big John’s hands down has my favorite in town.”
