Here’s a new local mystery photo offered by a City Paper reader. What and where is it? (Be specific.) The 14th person who correctly guesses this week’s mystery, “More trees,” will win some City Paper swag. To enter (one entry per person), send your guess, name and hometown in an email to: mystery@charlestoncitypaper.com.

LAST WEEK’S MYSTERY: Many readers seemed to have a tough time with last week’s mystery photo which winner Robert Grenfell of Wilmington, Delaware, described as “Two screws from an ocean-going vessel on Morrison Drive.” [There’s probably a bad joke in there, but we’ll let that go.] Congratulations to Grenfell, who will be getting a little City Paper swag for his winning entry.

Every Monday, the City Paper offers a mystery photo taken somewhere in the Lowcountry. We encourage you to guess — and make sure to share your name and the town in which you live. We’ll uncover the mystery the following week and, every now and then, give a prize.

Bonus: If you want to submit a mystery photo taken by you for us to share, send it to our mystery email address. Make sure to put “Submission” in the subject line.

Past mysteries: While the guessing time on these mysteries is over, you might enjoy seeing some old mystery photos that readers have puzzled over.

Enjoy!
