Charleston has a new dance ensemble. It’s called the Charleston Dance Project. It’s the performance wing of a new dance school called Dancefx. The dance group comprises young and aspiring jazz contemporary dancers ages 18 and older. Auditions for the ensemble will take place Sept. 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the dance school’s new location in downtown Charleston. The studio is located at 334 East Bay Street. Classes at the school focus on adults dancers. Style range from jazz to ballet, from ballroom to strip aerobics, from hip-hop to belly dancing.
