The library’s gettin’ rowdy. Media Services department head Kevin Crothers and the Charleston County Public Library at 68 Calhoun Street introduce a new monthly acoustic concert series next week. On Sat. Nov. 7, from 2-5 p.m., the series Off the Grid will feature local singer-songwriter Chuck Taylor, the bluesy Peter Ledbetter, and Nashville-based songwriter Sabrina.
Shows are free, and they will continue one Saturday per month from 2-5 p.m. at the main library location downtown. Upcoming events include performances by Becca & Daniel, The Mac Leaphart Band, and The Explorers Club. All concerts are free and will be archived on CCPL’s website at www.ccpl.org/media.
