OHM Radio’s second-annual Sweet Corn Cook Off is back on Sun. May 22 from 2 ’til 6 p.m. at the Royal American (970 Morrison Dr.).

Local restaurants — Obstinate Daughter, Taco Boy, Lee Lee’s Hot Kitchen, Two Boroughs Larder, Monza, Spero, and the Park Cafe — will be paired with local musicians — Cary Ann Hearst (Shovels & Rope), Justin Osborne (SUSTO), Lindsay Holler (Matadero), Elise Testone, Gradual Lean, Madam Adam, and the Very Hypnotic Soul Band — to compete for the best corn-infused dish.

Solid Country Gold and Elise Testone will perform, and the event will end with a front porch jam with several of the day’s participants.

The cook off is dog and family-friendly. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 day of show, and $10 for kids 18 and under, and you can purchase them here. All proceeds will go to support OHM Radio 96.3.
