So, I missed out on the deal last semester, but I’ll be damned if that happens again this go around.

181 Palmer, the dining room at Trident Tech’s Palmer Campus, reopens for business on Monday and they’ve got a brand new menu. For 15 bucks, you get three courses and a beverage!

The menu:

APPETIZERS:

  • Grilled Wild American Shrimp: Cauliflower Purée, Caper-Currant Brown Butter Vinaigrette
  • Pan-Seared Scallop: Artichokes, White Asparagus, Leeks, Neuske’s Bacon, Maple-Cider Foam
  • Palmetto Porter-Braised Short Ribs: Anson Mills Grits, Caramelized Onions, Crispy Sage Leaves
  • Empanada: Wild Mushroom and Roasted Butternut Squash Filling, Cotija Cheese, Mole Negro

SOUPS/SALADS:

  • Skillet Oyster Stew:Braised Leeks, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Nueske’s Bacon, Toasted Benne Seeds
  • Lowcountry Minestrone: Anson Mills Farro, White Beans, Tomato, Market Vegetables, Pesto
  • Baby Romaine Salad: Baby Red and Green Romaine, Carrots, Red Onion, Toasted Brioche, Roasted Garlic-Buttermilk Dressing
