Gays and straights alike came out to Club Pantheon decked out in their best formal wear for Saturday’s Prom: The Sequel. The gender-bending event was sponsored by College of Charleston’s Cougar Activities Board and Charleston Pride, which will occur in May. Prom-goers could buy corsages and have their picture taken with their date under the arch. But this wasn’t your high school prom: scantily clad men danced on the bar while Jello shots were passed around. Toward the end of the night, the fabulous Ava Clear announced that the Prom King and Queen (or queen and queen in this case) were Ashley and Brittany, who wore matching pastel corsets and pixie haircuts. Organizers also gave away massages and an iPod touch, and auctioned off dates, as well, raising over $2,000 for Charleston Pride.
