[embed-1]Ever since the departure of the beloved Mr. Bonetangles, Charleston has been looking for a salve for its puppet-less wound. It looks like Harold’s Cabin has the cure with an upcoming short, sweet, and totally free puppet show. The restaurant hosts Mignonette Marionette’s Puppet Petit Fours next Tues. Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. Fun fact: Mignonette was Harold’s (of the cabin, of course) mom’s name, so the play on words is a nod to her. There’s no cover for the show, but seating is limited, so show up earlier rather than later.

The show features local performers Sage Graham, Mark Yoder, and Dave English for “an evening of puppet vignettes and parlour tricks folded together to retell amusing (and mostly true) historical anecdotes from the Lowcountry and beyond.” Harold’s plans to hold this puppet show on the first Tuesday of every month.
