PURE Theatre’s next show, Honoria Quietly Drawing Strength From Her Truth, opens on Wed., April 27. Honoria is a world premiere play written by Clifton Campbell.

A social activist, a Vietnam vet, and a progressive theatre artist, each eager to tell their stories to the world, vie for a valuable piece of property donated by an affluent Southern family with its own complicated past. Honoria, who has been tasked with making the decision, looks for answers without and within.

The play stars PURE core ensemble members Sullivan Hamilton, Brannen Daughtery, Randy Neale, Rodney Lee Rogers, Tonya Smalls Williams, Josh Wilhoit, and City Paper contributing arts editor Michael Smallwood.

Honoria Quietly Drawing Strength From Her Truth runs April 27 – May 14, including three PURE Live live stream performances on April 30, May 7 and May 14. Tickets can be purchased online at puretheatre.org.
