Cheap and fast. That’s what Quick Bite will be when it opens on the Market on Mon. June 8.

Quick Bite will be serving cheese steaks, gyros, Italian beef, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, etc. Owner Feras Obaideen is a new comer to Chucktown from Toledo, Ohio, and this is his first shot at restaurant entrepreneurship.

From the prices on the menu, though, he should have people flocking to him. Prices range from $1.50-$6.50. Pretty good deal. And in a feat of genius, they plan to stay open 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

The decor of the place is also simple and straightforward, just like the food. They’ve completely transformed the old shack that once housed the beloved Your Place and turned it into a sleek little diner.

The kitchen’s in the front of the house, so customers can watch how it’s all put together. They also have an entire chalkboard wall for doodling while you wait.

Quick Bite is located next to Gilligan’s at 6 N. Market. Weekday and Sunday hours are 9 a.m.-12 a.m. To place a pick up order call (843) 577-3010.
