Ready to get raw on King Street?

The Sprout, South Carolina’s first raw food restaurant, is opening a second location downtown next week.

The Sprout, which operates out of the ECO Fitness in Mt. Pleasant, has built its reputation on being committed to local, organic, and raw. Vegans have embraced it for specialities like kombucha and kimchee.

Now The Sprout’s stars have aligned with Seeking Indigo, a new wellness center in the old Putomayo space that will have an exhaustive array of services in addition to a spa, a Loft Pilates studio, a retail space, and an art gallery. Seeking Indigo will open on Oct. 15, and its version of The Sprout will be a grab-n-go cafe, allowing you to get a light lunch for under $10. The original menu will stay intact, with the addition of coconut water and oohlong tea.

Stop by the grand opening on Thurs. Oct. 15 from 6-8 p.m. to try out the fresh, cheap, and healthy fare.
