Tomorrows forecast? Rainy with a chance of stars. The CBS legal drama, Reckless, will be filming South of — and on —Broad tomorrow, July 31. In an email sent out by the Charlestowne Neighborhood Association, residents were given the heads up on some filming locales. And now you can be in the know as well. Tomorrow’s locations include 20 South Battery, with the street closed between King and Meeting streets, from early morning until noon; City Hall (80 Broad) from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; and 39 Broad from 5-8 p.m., with intermittent traffic control on Broad Street from 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
Stars you may catch a glimpse of tomorrow include the show’s leading man, Cam Gigandet. The actor is best known as a sparking vampire villain in the Twilight saga, a role that he just can’t seem to put behind him thanks to the plethora of fan girls at C of C — and everywhere.
If star-stalking isn’t your style, its not too late to be an extra. The “CBS Reckless Extras” Facebook page has been abuzz the past 24 — as of this morning, posts looking for extras were still going up for parts being filmed tomorrow. Extra roles needing to be filled include: two “rough and tough,” Caucasian, biker-looking dudes between the ages of 25 and 35; a Hispanic or African-American male, also between 25 and 35, with experience as a cop; and a Hispanic or Caucasian male, from 45-70 years old, that drives an old car. For more information about how to apply as an extra, check out their Facebook page.
