If you’re looking to switch up your wardrobe on the cheap, but don’t have the sartorial acumen of those Insta vintage hotties, Red Rose Vintage is the mobile shop you’ve been searching for: It’s got all the drool-worthy throwbacks compiled in one place.
Housed in a 1976 Airstream RV, Red Rose specializes in all things 80s and 90s, from Levis to flannel to fringe. This Fri. Oct. 13 the mobile shop pops-up at AAA storage downtown (44 Line St.) from noon to 4 p.m. for a $5 vintage yard sale. Seriously, that’s less than a breakfast sandwich. They’re teaming up with Tuff Stuff Vintage so guys and gals can stock up for fall, Halloween, or holiday goods for friends and family.
Red Rose is also launching a new line called Kritter Klips, and to be purrfectly honest, it sounds pawsome.
You know those Snapchat filters that make your eyes big and cute and your skin glow-y and your ears into something fuzzy and mammalian? You can now achieve that look (mostly) in real life with these clip in animal ears. The launch will happen Sat. Oct. 21 at Park Cafe from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Best, part, 10 percent of the proceeds from the Kritter Klips go to Pet Helpers.
Be sure to look out for the pop-up at its new location, 424 King St. (parking lot across from Black Bean Co.) starting Wed. Oct. 25. [location-1]
