[image-1]Earlier this week Redux Contemporary Art Center’s Board of Directors announced Beth Kerrigan as Redux’s interim executive director. Kerrigan has held several transitional leadership positions at Carolina Youth Development Center, the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry, Tri-County Cradle-to-Career Collaborative, and the College of Charleston. Kerrigan takes over former executive director Stacy Huggins’ position while the board searches for a new executive director.
Redux’s board president Francis Ervin says, “We are delighted to welcome Beth into this interim role to help us prepare for the next generation of service to the community. We also wish to take this opportunity to thank Stacy again for her years of service to Redux and for helping us get to where we are.”
Redux recently relocated to a much larger space at 1056 King St. after 14 years at 136 St. Philip St. Huggins, who held her position as Redux’s executive director for four years, moves to Wilmington, N.C. with her husband later this year. In its 15 years Redux has had seven executive directors. With the help of Governance4Good, an organization that “equips nonprofits to excel in governance, leadership, and accountability,” they hope to find their eighth director soon.
