Reggae Block Dance

What is it? SLICE International headlines the annual Reggae Block Dance, a Piccolo favorite, which brings the pulsating rhythms of reggae and the Caribbean to Marion Square.

Why see it? Having outgrown its traditional location behind the Custom House, this party, which typically draws 10,000 to 12,000 people, has been moved to Marion Square and is expected to reach maximum capacity.

Who should go? Fun-seekers of all ages will want to sway to African drumming, dance, and reggae music or simply to check out the vendors who will be on hand to sell ethnic food, arts, and crafts.

PICCOLO SPOLETO • Free • May 24, 7-11 p.m. • Marion Square, corner of Calhoun and King streets • (843) 724-7305
