In the memory of comedian George Carlin, HBO2 will present all 11 of his specials made for the cable network from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. on July 25-26.

Carlin died on June 11. He’s probably best remembered as the creator of “The Seven Words You Can’t Say on Television.” But he was also an avid TV and movie actor (The George Carlin Show, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back), author (Brain Droppings, Napalm and Silly Putty), and social satirist (he won this year’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor) whose influence on American comedy will be felt for a long time to come. —Alison Sher
