The Charleston duo Shovels and Rope has made the big time. They’ve been on Dave. They’ve won awards. And they’ve been kicking ass all over the U.S.A. And now Rolling Stone has finally taken notice.

Now, the husband and wife duo of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst haven’t made the cover of the veritable music mag, but Rolling Stone is currently featuring a video they cut with J. Roddy Walston. The video for “Boys Can Never Tell” is a cover of Walston’s tune, and it was shot in the backyard of the couple’s Johns Island home.

According to Rolling Stone, Shovels and Rope is currently recording a new album.
