One of our favorite parts about Second Sundays is the al fresco dining a lot of restaurants have going on. Another fave? All the food trucks that set up shop. Roti Rolls and Sweet Lulu’s Bakery have read our minds, combining their food truck operations with a sit down brunch this Sunday. There will be two seatings at 12:15 and 2 p.m. and you can get the tickets here.
Roti Rolls’ menu includes items like kimchi deviled eggs; mason jar salads with local kale, arugula, candied beets, goat cheese, and lemon dill tahini gastrique; vegetarian or beef funky farmers with candied beet rice, coconut curried local veggies, Sunny Farm eggs, and salsa verde; and loco moco with coconut jasmine rice, two Mibek Farms ground short rib cheese burgers, Sunny Farm eggs, kimchi, and pig gravy.
Finish off your meal with a mason jar dessert from Sweet Lulu’s — choose from flavors like Southern Comfort coconut cake, red velvet cupcake, and Drunkin’ Sailor. You can also snag a chocolate chip or s’mores cookie and water, soda, or sparkling peach tea.
The trucks will be set up in front of 174 King St. and while guests can purchase food without reserving a spot, recommendations are suggested to ensure a seat. Get your ticket here.
