The case of Greer (S.C.) High School linebacker Adam Ah Ching and his alleged encounter with accused child molester Jerry Sandusky has taken another interesting turn.

According to a source with the All-Poly Camp for football players of Polynesian descent, Sandusky has never attended the camp. The source adds that no Penn State coach has ever visited an All-Poly camp and that the camp is rarely visited by coaches from the East Coast. (Multiple reports seem to indicate that Ah Ching did attend the camp, likely on more than one occasion.)

In the original WYFF report about Ah Ching’s alleged encounter with Sandusky, the Greer High linebacker claimed that the former Penn State coach attended a spring practice.

Soon after, WYFF reported that Greer High football Coach Will Young said Sandusky had not attended a Greer Yellowjackets practice. WYFF added that Ah Ching stood by his claim.

Later, the AP reported that the chance meeting actually took place at the All-Poly football camp in Utah, and not in the Upstate South Carolina town. The camp took place in summer 2011.

Ah Ching is a star player at Greer High and has reportedly been recruited by several big name colleges.

Our source with the All-Poly Camp was dismayed that the football camp was being dragged into this ongoing scandal and wondered if Ah Ching and his father Otto were using Penn State’s troubles to get attention.
