On Sat. Oct. 19 at 11 p.m. Savage Saturday returns in force, and this time the Savage Souls crew and their hip-hop pals will be taking over North Charleston’s Rehab Bar & Grill (8484 Dorchester Road, (843) 767-1426). This will be the show’s first away from the Oasis.

Brian Wade, a.k.a. Kae G the Original Seed, says, “We’ve heard a lot of outcry from North Charleston and Summerville people that James Island is just too long of a haul.”

This week’s installment features MC Squared, Apollo Valdez, J-Vive, Joe Nice, Damn Skippy, and, of course, Savage Souls. “And here’s the big kicker: it’s a free show. Free with ticket, I should say,” says Kae G, “We have 400 hard tickets getting around out there. A few are up at Cats Music on Main Street in Summerville, and most are going hand to hand, but they can also be obtained online.”

Savage Souls will also be selling physical copies of their music, which you can currently find for free on Soundcloud The hip-hop trio was recently nominated for a City Paper Music Award.
