The much-loved, Tony award-winning RENT is coming to Charleston for a special fundraising run. Tickets went on sale Dec. 1 (World AIDS Day) for the White Tuxedo Productions’ show. The musical, starring a cast of New York-based performers, will run Jan. 21-Feb. 14 at the Charleston Music Hall and a portion of proceeds will benefit the Roper St. Francis Ryan White Foundation and the Alliance for Full Acceptance. The musical, based on La Boheme, chronicles life with AIDS in the East Village of New York City. Tickets for the performance are available at
