Slow Food Charleston has put together a fun dinner that’s designed to pay tribute to our local chefs, who are recovering from the annual Charleston Wine + Food Festival.

On Sunday at Heirloom Book Co., Slow Food Charleston’s collection of cooks, headed up by Susan Bass, will be serving up a 50s-inspired dinner. Think gelatin molds and beef wellington (but in a very good way).

IceBox will be supplying the signature cocktails, and Holly Herrick will be making the desserts. There will also be beer and wine at the dinner.

If you want to belly up alongside Charleston’s best chefs, call to make your reservations now. There’s still some limited space available. Contact Susan, 813-3116.
