Springbok Coffee Roasters and Park Circle brewery Commonhouse Aleworks are teaming up to offer a “Springbok Stout” series that will feature four different variations of a beer made using Springbok coffee and Commonhouse’s base imperial stout.
“We are excited to partner with our good friend Pearce and his team at Commonhouse Aleworks for this limited release of four new stouts,” said Springbok co-owner Jason Bell. “Their imperial stout pairs so perfectly with our coffees from four different countries, and we hope Charleston enjoys sampling their complex flavors ranging from chocolate and apricot in our Uraga to molasses and pineapple in our Finca Medina.”
Each beer features a different country’s coffee beans and fruit, so you can expect all four stouts to vary slightly in taste. These are the options:
- Uraga blend (Ethiopia) with apricots.
- ASOPAP blend (Colombia) with blueberries.
- Finca Medina blend (Guatemala) with pineapple.
- El Batallon blend (El Savador) with raspberries.
