It’s Friday, time to start planning happy hour, right? Here’s an idea. For the first time since opening, Stars is now serving food on its rooftop. During happy hour, Monday-Friday from 4-7 p.m., guests can enjoy a rotating menu of small bites, as well as house-infused cocktail specials.

Currently the menu includes four items: field pea hummus, smoked bar nuts, spicy chicken lettuce wraps, and bacon pimento cheese on benne seed crackers. 

As for cocktails, there’s Southern Belle Bathwater with strawberry, rhubarb, and basil-infused gin served with a splash of simple syrup and fresh lemon juice. A blend of Aperol and Nolets gin makes up the Hollands Cloggin Kollaans with citrus and cucumber infused water. The Laughing at the Deck cocktail is Stars take on a seasonal sangria with blood orange puree, white wine, and Lillet Blanc. And finally there’s the Seventh Steeple: basil-infused Beefeater 24 gin, served with bartender and entrepreneur Rochelle Jones’ own Southern Twist Bison Grass cocktail mix, finished with Stella Cidre and Pellegrino Limonata.
