It’s only been one week since David Lettermen announced that he would be leaving his late-night desk, but rumors about his replacement swirled. From Tina Fey to Neil Patrick Harris, it was a who’s who naming session of who could possibly be Letterman’s successor. Well, today it was announced that Charleston funny man Stephen Colbert will take over the spot.

We love Colbert, but we’re interested to see how he transforms his Conservative talk-show host persona to the late-night game. One thing’s for sure, come 2015, we’ll be watching.
