Tuesday night, fashionable folk gathered at Eye Level Art for a low-key party headed up by Sucker Jeans. The Charleston-based company was hosting a “trend sale” for their flared jeans, which they say are making a comeback. In addition to their seersucker jeans, guests browsed T-shirts and artwork from Atlanta-based company Drue Dun, which provided shirts for Sucker’s runway show at Charleston Fashion Week 2010. Also on view was a table of jewelry from Stella & Dot, a San Francisco-based company that sells locally, Avon lady-style. It didn’t take long to glance over the offerings (and we didn’t want to stay in the sticky warehouse for too long), so most guests gathered in the courtyard and sipped champagne. The Fire Apes started playing as the sun went down, filling the place with a handful of their local fans.
