Super Bowl XVLI is here and it’s time to get your game face on.  We’ve compiled a list of Charleston’s food and drink specials, parties, and giveaways so you can make the most of the biggest game day of the year.

The Hippodrome is hosting what they’re calling “the biggest game of the year on the biggest screen in Charleston,” complete with beer pong, fooseball, and corn hole tournaments. The event kicks off at 3 pm with an hour-long tailgate party. General admission opens at 4 pm and lasts till 12 a.m. The event is free to boot.

Moe’s Tavern is kicking off the festivities with a Super Bowl brunch at their Crosstown location, continuing with bucket specials, wings, and burger deals, plus additional food and drink specials during the game.

Bighorn’s Sports Grill is having a Super Sunday party with over 50 big-screen TVs, a bigger menu, wings, burgers, and steaks. Can’t make it for the game? They’ll have some post-game nightlife too.

Market Street Saloon is celebrating the day with a giveaway of $5,000 in cash and prizes, plus $10 domestic buckets, $2 saloon brew draft, and $1 shooters while they last. There will also be a free halftime buffet … with no cover. They’re also offering to go orders including a menu-party pack ($19.99) and wing platters ($17.99 for 25 piece sampler and $34.99 for 50 piece).

Liberty Tap Room and Grill will have $5 growler refills, $5 wings, $10 chicken tenders, and  $2.50 Bloody Marys and mimosas all day long. TBonz has similar offerings with $5 growler refills, $5 chicken wings, and $5 chicken tenders, and they’re also taking to-go orders, which must be placed by 3 pm and picked up by 4 pm.

The Roost Bar N’ Grille in West Ashley will have $3 Yuengling Draft, $15 domestic buckets, and $5 Red Stag, The venue has 14 TVs and an extended outdoor patio, so you can get a little sunshine along with your football. They’re currently taking table reservations (space is limited) and they’re doing wings-to-go orders until 2 pm Sunday.

If burgers and wings aren’t your thing, Manhattan’s is offering something a little different: an oyster roast from 2-6 p.m. Get $13 all-you-can-eat oysters, $5 Lowcountry boil bowls, $4 bowls of chili, $12 domestic buckets, and $5 fireball shots. You’ll also have the chance to win a 40” LCD TV. Plus it’s for a good cause, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Ryan White Program.

Mad River is also mixing it up a little with a $15 all-you-can-eat pig roast. This downtown hotspot also competes for “the biggest projector screen in town” award. The Pierpont Pub has a pig roast and cornhole tournament too.

Not to be outdone, Boone’s is assembling their own 17 ft. HD projector screen and raffling off jerseys from each team. Their deals include Bud and Bud Light bucket specials plus a special game day food menu.

Wild Wing Cafe is celebrating with beer specials, with $3.25 Budweiser and Bud Light Stadium Cups and $13 Bud and Bud Light buckets. They’re also taking to-go orders.

And 17 North will have a female-friendly Little Black Dress Super Bowl Party with a tapas menu, jewelry displays, and more.
