[embed-1] Grammy Award-winning alt-rock band Portugal. The Man will play the Volvo Cars Stadium on Daniel island on Sun. Sept. 16.

The band, originally from Sarah Palin’s hometown of Wasilla, Ala. but now living in Portland, has been on critics’ radars since their debut album Waiter:”You Vultures!” was released in 2006.
[content-1] They rose to prominence more than 10 years later, when lead singer and guitarist John Gourley’s fluttery and soulful vocals made “Feel It Still” the indescribable yet inescapable hit of 2017. The song peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 in November and earned the group a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance earlier this year.

Woodstock, released last year, includes the highly-streamed songs “Live In The Moment,” “So Young,” and “Rich Friends.”
