Former Marine Corps officials ask Mace to tone down Parris Island claims. Former Marine Corps officials including a former commanding general of Parris Island signed a letter asking S.C. Rep. Nancy Mace, a Republican candidate for Congress against U.S. Rep. Joe Cunningham, to tone down her claims that Parris Island is on the chopping block. South Carolina joins anti-trust lawsuit against Google. South Carolina and ten other states have joined the civil antitrust lawsuit against Google. S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson filed the suit on Tuesday, saying “Google’s monopoly is hurting consumers in South Carolina and across the country and we think the company’s actions violate federal laws.” Source: Columbia Business Journal
