After the latest collapse of Senate Republicans’ efforts to repeal Obamacare, Upstate S.C. Congressman Jeff Duncan says that congressional GOP should start their reform efforts by repealing Obamacare without a replacement. Leaders say they intend to do that, but it’s unclear how much support they’ll have. Lt. Gov. Kevin Bryant can’t run for lieutenant governor next year, as a new state law mandates that it be elected jointly with the governor, but state ethics officials say that he can raise money using a campaign account for the office.
