[image-1]The Fringe, a local podcast founded and hosted by City Paper writer Kalyn Oyer and D.J. Edwards, celebrates the launch of its third season with a party at Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer (4 Vanderhorst St.) on Thurs. July 14 at 7 p.m.

The shindig will feature performances by She Returns from War, Rico & Miranda (featuring Jenna Desmond and Corey Campbell of SUSTO), and Cole Collins, all of which will be recorded live for the podcast.

The Fringe debuted back in February, and an episode typically involves at least an hour of brand new music released within the previous seven days.

Music at the launch party kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $5, and refreshments will be available for purchase, including regular and vegan hotdogs from Hot Links food truck.
