Charleston’s only surf-rock trio Jason and the Juggernauts celebrate their first full 12 months as a band on Sat. Aug. 28 with a massive luau in Park Circle at their favorite haunt, The Mill. Lead singer/guitarist Jason Brachman, bassist Kyle Unterreiner, and drummer Brett Unterreiner played their first-ever show at the Mill one year ago this week.

They welcome local swamp-blues duo Whiskey ‘n’ Ramblin’ and Charlotte-based country/rockabilly act Jem Crossland to the corner stage. JT & The Dragpipes will be there, too. Dub Island turntablist Ras Dave will be on hand to spin grooves between sets. Dinner and grub will be provided by the Mill’s team of chefs.

Hopefully, the Juggernauts will pull everyone up for a rendition of the Ventures’ classic instrumental "Hawaii Five-O." Visit myspace.com/themilllounge for more.
