On Saturday morning, teams consisting of six to eight players gathered on mud volleyball courts to participate in the College of Charleston Student Alumni Associates’ Oozeball 2006 tournament. The tournament was held on the hand-muddied fields just off of Grimball Road on James Island, where CofC students and alumni alike participated in this stimulating combination of coed volleyball and mud wrestling. The event was a success, never ceasing to sustain its integrity as “the biggest mud-volleyball event in the nation!”

Lower King Street was closed to traffic from 1:30-8:00 p.m. on Monday to accommodate a party and Lacoste spring fashion show, in the midst of the Family Circle Cup. The event was hosted by ESPN Commentator and former ATP Tour player Luke Jensen.
