Gibbes Museum of Art
’s newest exhibition, Now!, a show featuring five young contemporary artists that will be on view until January 14. The opening Time Warp party was a throwback to the cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, with costumed guests, DJ Lanatron spinning dance tunes, and

performing their colorful act.
This weekend at the Gaillard was the 24th annual Friends of the Library BookFest, with over 60,000 books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, videos, and rare collectibles for sale. With free admission and books starting as low as 50 cents, book lovers could walk away with an impressive addition to their home libraries.
Every Monday night, poetry lovers gather at the East Bay Coffee House downtown to share their work. It’s open mic, with musicians welcome and poets of all ages reading throughout the night. Check out
