Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. will release a collab beer featuring Bradford Watermelons this Sat. Oct. 28. The 5.5 percent ABV beer will only be available on draft at the brewery’s taproom, although you will also be able to take the brew home in crowlers ($11) and growlers ($18).

The light golden ale, Watermelon Thief, is made with more than 140 gallons of heirloom watermelon juice and a pinch of milk sugar. Bradford Watermelons, which NPR has deemed “the sweetest watermelon the South has ever known,” is based in Asheville, N.C. You can read their whole story on their website, bradfordwatermelons.com.
