Thompson To Visit Citadel Tuesday

Fred Thompson is visiting the Citadel next week according to The State politics blog.

Fred Thompson will return to South Carolina next week as the Republican presidential hopeful campaigns at The Citadel. Thompson, a former U.S. senator from Tennessee, will speak to students, faculty and staff about leadership and ethics, according to the Charleston military school.

The Citadel’s provost invited Thompson to participate in the school’s emphasis on leadership development. His visit is a prelude to the inaugural Principled Leadership Symposium, scheduled for March.

Thompson’s address begins at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McAlister Field House. It is free and open to the public.
