Is it too soon to be thinking about Christmas? Nope. And you can think about it a lot starting next Mon. Oct. 2 when you purchase tickets to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center’s December performances of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The show comes to Charleston Dec. 22-24. Starting at 10 a.m. on Monday you can purchase tickets by calling 1-800-745-3000 or at ticketmaster.com.

A Christmas Story, The Musical, brings all of your favorite characters from the classic flick (A Christmas Story, FYI) to the stage. Ralphie Parker schemes, trying to figure out how he can get the Red Ryder Carbine-Action 200-shot Range Model Air Rifle for Christmas, despite his parents dire warnings — in the vein of “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”

A Christmas Story The Musical and its holiday-themed score by composer/lyricist team Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, has been nominated for three Tony Awards. Learn more about the production online.
