Tonight marks the second annual Charleston Stars Gender Pageant, hosted by Prism- College of Charleston. Prism (formerly Gay-Straight Alliance) is a student-led organization that aims to provide a close community for LGBTQ+ students and allies.

Prism Vice President Mikayla Drost says that the “aim of the Charleston Stars Gender Pageant is to give the College of Charleston campus and surrounding community the opportunity to be a part of a unique experience that explores gender as a performance art. We will have performances from students at The College as well as from local drag queens.” 

The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Sottile Theatre and is free and open to the public.
