Sen. Jim DeMint, apparently not realizing that voters need to get through the next four days before they start thinking about 2010, will be speaking to local residents at the Embassy Suites in North Charleston during lunch on Friday. The event is Dutch-treat (because hotels are ex-pen-sive! Seriously we don’t eat, unless it’s on the company dime).
“I want to speak with Charleston residents about what is going on in Washington, our country’s need for effective leadership and the importance of this upcoming election. Taking time to listen to constituents is very important to me, and I look forward to hearing their ideas on the future of South Carolina and our country as a whole,” said DeMint.
