Local rock bands Harper’s Gambit and Social Void will share the bill at Tin Roof Charleston with Nashville-based exploratory rock trio Sound&Shape at 9 p.m. May 23.

With influences including Wilco and My Morning Jacket, Harper’s Gambit came onto the Charleston scene in 2020 with its easy listening indie rock. The band consists of bassist/vocalist Jake Schoenberg, guitarist/vocalist Derek Tuck and drummer Brandon Bryant. 

Emerging rock band Social Void debuted in 2017 with Propeller and have since released Resurrection Choir in 2020. 

Sound&Shape has a sizable discography of self-released material as well as a new 2022 album Disaster Medicine. The band consists of brothers Chip (guitar/vocals) and Brent (bass/vocals) Cooley, keyboardist Elijah Kuzia, guitarist Quell Graham, drummer Josh Cronin.

The 9 p.m. show is 21+ and $10 at the door.
