While doing some updating on this year’s high-profile stories, I found this info on the case of the two Egyptian born students from Tampa who were arrested in August for having an explosive device in their trunk while traveling through Goose Creek. It was later revealed that one of the men had created a video on YouTube teaching viewers how to make a homemade bomb.

Last week, a third international student was arrested after a photo was found that put the three at a  shooting range. Firing weapons is against student visa rules.

Also, a federal judge delayed the trial of the two Lowcountry visitors until March to give the FBI more time to review evidence.
