Whether your turkey tastes veer more smoked by the pound or served as braised thighs alongside pimento cheese arancini, several area restaurants are here to make your holiday feast a little less stressful.

Rodney Scott’s BBQ

The barbecue joint will be selling 100 15 lb. pit-cooked turkeys at $80 a piece in addition to sides of collards, mac and cheese, potato salad, and coleslaw. Sides are $18 for a half gallon and $35 for a full gallon. All items are for pre-sale only beginning Wed. Nov. 1 through Nov. 15 with payment required upon ordering. Ted’s Butcherblock
Ted’s Butcherblock is now accepting orders for Bell and Evans fresh turkeys ($4/lb) and Heritage Black Turkeys ($8/lb). You can purchase the turkeys as is, or brined for an additional $10 and roasted or smoked for an additional $30. Call (843) 577-0094 or email Ted at ted@tedsbutcherblock.com to secure your turkey. Orders will be accepted through November while inventory lasts.

Le Farfalle

Le Farfalle will be hosting a turkey day feast with Chef Michael Toscano putting an Italian twist on the holiday, offering dishes like pimento cheese arancini, roasted fall vegetables, ricotta gnudi a la King with braised turkey thighs, house-cured brown sugar-mustard glazed ham, cornbread stuffing, and more. Reservations can be made on Resy for Nov. 23 from 1-7:30 p.m.



Cru Catering
Cru Catering will be offering both a la carte and prix fixe menu options available to order through Wed. Nov. 15 at 3 p.m. The prix fixe menu includes a whole sweet tea brined oven roasted turkey, Southern cornbread and sausage stuffing, Cran-Marnier sauce, turducken gravy, pureed potatoes, green bean casserole with applewood smoked bacon and crispy onions, spiced honey roasted carrots, and caramel pumpkin pie. The full menu is available with a five person minimum ($55 per person). 82 Queen
82 Queen will be open Thanksgiving day, offering a three-course menu for $60. Diners can choose from starters like butternut squash bisque and a roasted beet salad; entrees including herb roasted turkey breast with mashed potatoes, andouille sausage with sage dressing, pecan buttered haricot verts, giblet gravy, and fresh cranberry-pineapple chutney; and desserts like pumpkin pie, sweet potato maple layered cheesecake and bourbon pecan pie. Reservations are recommended; the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Lowcountry Bistro
Lowcountry Bistro will also be open Thanksgiving day 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and will be serving special entrees like the Thanksgiving Dinner: a dish with herb salt turkey breast, cornbread stuffing, collard greens, green bean casserole, cranberry sauces and turkey gravy. There will also be a braised pork osso bucco with mustard greens and grapes, goat cheese grits, and persimmon chutney.

Lewis Barbecue 

John Lewis and crew will be offering a variety of signature dishes prepared and ready to serve. Pre-order Lewis’ smoked turkey breasts and whole briskets, along with a selection of sides like the green chile corn pudding, cole slaw, and pinto beans. Pre-orders can be made by calling the restaurant at (843) 805-9500 or emailing info@lewisbarbecue.com and will be available for pick-up on Wed. Nov. 22.

Poogan’s Smokehouse
Poogan’s Smokehouse will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the holiday. In addition to regular menu items, they’ll have seasonal additions including a smoked butternut squash bisque, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, cornbread stuffing, smoked turkey, and pecan and pumpkin pie for dessert. 5Church Charleston
5Church Charleston will be offering a three course meal on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The meal is $45 per person, and an additional $15 for wine pairings.

Swig & Swine
Swig & Swine is now accepting pre-orders through Sat. Nov. 18 for meats, sides, and desserts to be picked up between 10 a.m. and noon Thanksgiving day. For proteins, choose from a whole turkey ($80), turkey breast ($65), whole pork butts ($36 per butt), and beef brisket ($125 whole brisket). Side options include mac and cheese, baked potato salad, collard greens, pickled veggies, green bean casserole, corn pudding, and sweet potatoes with marshmallows; half pans are $35 and full pans $65. For dessert, choose from banana pudding or coconut custard pie, pecan pie, and chocolate pecan pie. Order by calling (843) 225-3805 (West Ashley) or (843) 771-9688 (Summerville).

McCrady’s Tavern
Thanksgiving day, McCrady’s Tavern will be offering a three course meal for $60. For an appetizer, choose from dressed lettuces, a Cinderalla pumpkin bisque, roasted beets and goat cheese, or pan seared scallops. Entree choices include butternut squash agnolotti, pan seared wreckfish, turkey roulade with red quinoa, or roasted beef tenderloin. Finish it off with either sweet potato pie, NC honey crisp apple crumble, or chocolate pecan pie.

Sticky Fingers
Sticky Fingers restaurants in Mt. Pleasant and Summerville will be hosting an all-you-can-eat-buffet from noon to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. They promise to serve up Turkey Day favorites for $20 per adult and $9 for children 10 and under. They will also offer to-go options where guests can choose to order the whole meal or a la carte.

Mercantile and Mash
Pick up a Thanksgiving dinner-to-go from Mercantile and Mash for $185 for six to eight people. One dinner includes a roasted Joyce Farms free range turkey finished with either an autumn spice rub or chestnut bourbon glaze, cranberry sauce and natural turkey jus, a salad, three sides, and a pie. For sides, choose from sweet potato souffle, roasted parsnip and cauliflower, white cheddar macaroni and cheese, cornbread stuffing, and collard greens. Pies include a chocolate chess pie, caramel apple streusel, maple spiced pumpkin, and bourbon pecan pie. Call (843) 793-2636 to place your order, and pick up on Wed. Hamby Catering
Order up a “Gobble Gobble” family meal from Hamby Catering and Hamby will sponsor a meal for a family in need via The Lowcountry Food Bank. The $155 Gobble Gobble package feeds eight guests and includes a whole roasted turkey, Blake’s favorite macaroni and cheese, sweet potato souffle, southern green beans, corn bread dressing, and giblet gravy. Order a la carte dishes like creamy whipped potatoes, muscadine chutney, cranberry orange relish, buttermilk biscuits, corn muffins, and pecan and pumpkin pie. Glass Onion
The Glass Onion will be offering a la carte to-go menu items including deviled eggs, butternut squash soup, chicken and andouille gumbo, cornbread dressing, sweet potato casserole, braised collard greens, local goat cheese cheesecake, and bread pudding. They’ll also be selling bottles of wine for $36, including Fantinel Ribolla Gialla Brut, Jean-Batiste Adam Pinot L’Auxerrois Vielles Vignes, and Copain Tous Ensembles Pinot Noir. Drawing Room
Enjoy a three course Thanksgiving dinner at the Drawing Room crafted by Executive Chef Forrest Parker and Sous Chef Richard Jones. First course choices include Lowcountry oyster pie, shrimp and scallop crudo, candy roaster squash bisque, or a warm fall CSA salad. Second course choices include a traditional turkey dinner with a slow roasted breast, smoked leg and thigh, porcini green beans, creme fraiche potatoes, and madeira, truffle and fois gras gravy; a filet of beef tenderloin with mashed autumn roots, roasted Brussels sprouts, and Clemson blue Diane sauce; a slow roasted prime rib of heritage pork with a rosemary mustard crust, white bean cassoulet, and melted savoy; and a grouper, lobster, shrimp and grits dish with black rice grits and broccoli rabe. The Macintosh

Blu Restaurant and Bar
From noon to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, Blu will be serving several courses for $36.95 ($15.95 for children ages four to 12). Menu items include a spiced pumpkin soup, a grilled veggie display, a charcuterie display, a calico scallop ceviche, South Carolina shrimp cocktail, shrimp paella, baked flounder, country fried chicken, a carving board with herb roasted turkey and pineapple glazed ham, pimento mac and cheese, pumpkin pie, bread pudding, a fruit display, and more. Home Team BBQ
For the first time ever Home Team BBQ will be offering holiday fixins’ for large parties. Menu items will include smoked turkey and ham by the pound and side items sold in portions to feed 15 people with choices including mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, squash casserole, green bean casserole, and corn bread stuffing. Order a la carte, or select a combo package; orders can be placed at the downtown location starting Nov. 18 by calling (843) 225-RIBS x1 or emailing catering@hometeambbq.com. Orders must be placed at least 36 hours in advance.

Melvin’s BBQ
Place an order with Melvin’s for an easy Thanksgiving meal. Choose from homemade side dishes like sweet potato soufflé, macaroni and cheese, collards, butter beans, and more as well as homemade desserts like pecan chocolate chip pie, sweet potato pie, coconut cream pie, chocolate cake, coconut cake, and red velvet cake. Orders can be picked up Wed. Nov. 22 from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. at both the Mount Pleasant and James Island locations. Sides are $70 for a full pan and $40 for a half pan. Halls Chophouse
Halls has announced that they will be launching a “Thanksgiving Dinner To Go” option with two main course choices. Order an oven roasted turkey dinner or a honey baked ham dinner with sides of mashed Yukon gold potatoes, whipped sweet potatoes with pecans, green bean casserole, roasted root vegetables, stuffing, and Parker House rolls.
The dinners serve four for $160, six for $210, eight for $280, or twelve for $420. Order by calling (843) 724-3808. Dinners are available for pick-up at 5 Faber downtown; reservations and payment must be made by 5 p.m. Fri. Nov. 17. Chilled dinners may be picked up beginning Tues. Nov. 21. Caviar & Bananas
C&B will be offering to-go main courses, side dishes, wine, and desserts for the upcoming holidays. Choose from proteins like autumn spice brined Koch’s farm turkey, applewood smoked ham, boneless turkey breast, and Colorado rack of lamb; side dishes including creamed corn, roasted pear cornbread stuffing, grilled asparagus and roasted artichoke gratin, and spiced triple berry cranberry sauces; and desserts like hot chocolate marshmallow cake, pumpkin pie, eggnog cheesecake, gingerbread spice cake, and a holiday cookie platter. Orders for Thanksgiving must be placed by Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. and can be picked up Wed.
