[image-1]Chef Ken Vedrinski’s gnudi is good, but is it good enough to beat Bobby Flay’s? That’s what Food Network viewers will find out this Thursday when the owner of Trattoria Lucca and Coda del Pesce faces off against the celebuchef on Beat Bobby Flay.

For the competition that works in two heats, Vedrinski will first compete against Naples-born Raffaele Ronca. Ronca owns Ristorante Raffaele in New York City and is known for learning pasta making as a child from his mother. Before opening his own restaurant he worked as Executive Chef at Palma, Chef du Cuisine at Bellavitae, and Manager of Food and Wine at Café Torino.

Spoiler alert: Vedrinski does make it to round two and we’re told in that heat he’ll do his best to pummel Flay-vor Flay with his gnudi. Will it be good enough to slay Flay? A blind tasting from culinary experts will determine a winner.

Tune in on Thursday at 10 p.m. to see the results.  [location-1] [location-2]
