The High Divers, Motel Radio, and Babe Club play at The Royal American starting at 9 p.m. Grab a Royal American rum punch and drink your storm worries away.

September Networking Happy Hour and Meetup, hosted by First Friday Charleston, takes place at Sol downtown starting at 5:30 p.m.

Listen to blues, funk, and rock ‘n’ roll jams by Bizness Suit at the Wild Wing Cafe on Coleman Blvd from 9:30 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Steve Simon and the Kings of Jazz perform at How Art Thou from 8 to 11 p.m. Expect the “funkiness of George Benson, the soulfulness of Ray Charles and the smoothness of Diana Krall.”


According to Ghost Monkey Brewery and Bendy Brewski Yoga, “Hurricane Irma can move over, we need our yoga and beer!” Preach. 45 minutes of yoga starts at 10:15 with beer guzzlin to follow.

Leon’s Guest Chef Dinner series continues with Tel Aviv born Chef Einat Admony from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Leon’s Oyster Shed.

We know Short Grain means business when the title of their event includes the words “hurricane party.” Head to Stems & Skins from 6 to 9 p.m. for vino and an a la carte menu including shishito peppers, Sichaun cucumbers, Japanese fried chicken, spicy tuna tartar, house made spam, and udon mazemen.

The Mobros, Black Iron Gathering, and Camel Blues Band play at Royal starting at 9 p.m.

Kick off Charleston Beer Week with a disc golf tournament at COAST Brewing Co. starting at 10 a.m. The event promises, fun prizes, great food, and cold brews.

Catholics, Alswel, and The White Walls rock out at Tin Roof starting at 8 p.m.

Charles Towne Fermentory holds a charity beer dinner with 2 Nixons from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person.

Starting at noon there’s a local brewery tasting at Total Wine featuring beer from Freehouse, Holy City, and Palmetto.

Signal Fire plays at the Music Farm at 8 p.m.


Get a taste of island cuisine paired with local brews at the Folly Beer craft dinner at Chico Feo. The dinner is from 3 to 5 p.m. and the menu includes meat on a stick, Cuban beans and rice, Chico’s famous curry goat and dumplings, and smoked cheese and fine chocolates.

Real Dayz Hip-Hop plays at JohnKing Grill and Bar starting at 9 p.m. free of charge.

Aerial Fit holds Acro Sunday Funday starting at 6:30 p.m.
