4th of July Festival
The Lowcountry’s biggest 4th of July fireworks show is back at Riverfront Park after a pandemic break last year. Guests attending the event are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets, as there is no seating provided.  Attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of water and snacks, if desired. There will be no kids zone this year as an extra precaution.

Starlight Cinema at Freshfields
Freshfields Village’s annual Starlight Cinema on the Village Green is back and running all month. Guests can enjoy a free, family-friendly movie every week, starting with kid-favorite, Secret Life of Pets 2. Bring beach chairs and a blanket, kick back and enjoy the show. And don’t forget to mark your calendars for later showings throughout July so you don’t miss out on classic greats like The Karate Kid or new hits like Moana. The full schedule can be found online.

North Charleston Farmers Market
The 2021 North Charleston Farmers Market offers fresh, locally grown produce, arts-and-craft vendors, specialty foods and live music. The market features a different food truck each week. Drop by and grab something unique to take home, or stay and hang out and enjoy the live music in the shade.

Salute from the Shore
Participate in a unique opportunity for individuals, friends and families to salute the armed forces while celebrating Independence Day on South Carolina beaches with a military flyover stretching the entire length of South Carolina’s coast. Go big and bring American flags, or get creative to show support. Snap a photo or record a video of the flyover and post it on social media with #SalutefromtheShore.

Swingin’ Sinatra Saturdays 
Don’t miss out on Swingin’ Sinatra Saturdays, a special event held every weekend featuring all your favorite hits and the Joe Clarke Big Band. Can’t make it in person? No problem — just grab yourself a virtual ticket. Want something a little extra? Premium tickets are also available, but VIP tickets sell out fast, so grab one ahead of time.
