Love and lust are in the air with Charleston’s first Romancecon “Lust in the Lowcountry,” a two-day event sponsored by Guilty Pleasures and featuring readers, writers and all things romance this weekend. Perfect for aspiring romance writers and authors, romance novel fans and anyone else with an interest in the genre. Authors can learn from other writers, publishers and agents during workshops on Friday. Saturday will be an all-day book-signing event with free wine and champagne.

Join Wild Birds Unlimited this weekend for a free beginner bird photography class. Learn how to properly use your camera, how different camera settings interact with one another and more. Charleston Open Water Swim
Join Kiawah’s open water event this weekend and help in the fight against cancer. Established in 2018, Swim Across America has raised more than $200,000 for Hollings Cancer Center. Join hundreds of swimmers and volunteers in Kiawah’s 5th annual swim at Night Heron Park. Perfect for veteran swimmers and newcomers alike.

UnWined with Watercolor
Take a day off work and relive some of that stress with a little wine and a lot of color. Watercolor artist Mia Loia will lead this workshop with watercolor tutorials allowing for creative expression for complete beginners and seasoned watercolor artists alike.
