Phenomenal national circus Cirque du Soleil’s Crystal will take the audience on a journey into a whimsical frozen playground where incredible ice skating mingles with acrobatics and aerial feats. Created by Shana Carroll and Sebastien Soldevila, the show takes you on an exhilarating tale of self-discovery as Crystal, our misfit main character, dives into a world of her imagination.

The Way Through exhibition, Jamaal Barber
Atlanta-based creative Jamaal Barber’s work has been seen on display in art shows throughout the Southeast. But now his printmaking and woodcuts, his primary focuses, can be found on display in Summerville’s Public Works Art Center with a new upcoming exhibition sponsored by the DD2 Foundation and The Chick Inn.

Revolutionary War Siege Lines Walking Tour
Join Carl P. Borick, director of The Charleston Museum and author of A Gallant Defense: The Siege of Charleston, 1780, as he leads a tour to some of the key points related to the Revolutionary War Siege of Charleston, the longest siege of the war and largest battle fought in South Carolina. The former battlefield is now an urban landscape interspersed with pleasant city parks that obscure the vicious history between American patriots and British troops.

Inaugural AMOR 5K
The first-ever AMOR 5K is set for the beautiful grounds of the Woodland Nature Reserve. The unpaved course meanders around the lakes of the property with the start and finish at its picturesque beach area. It’s open to walkers and runners, but also to anyone who would like to join in supporting AMOR Healing Kitchen’s work to provide healthy meals to those facing critical health challenges.
