It’s almost here, y’all. Well, not quite, but still, we’re getting pretty pumped up for this year’s sixth annual YALLFest, slated for Nov. 11-12. Last year’s YA book festival saw over 13,000 fans on one day alone. YALLFest 2016, presented by Harper Collins’ Epic Reads, will feature 36 returning authors and 31 new authors. Tickets for keynote talks and featured events will go on sale on Aug. 1.

[image-2]Featured talks include a conversation between Victoria Aveyard, author of Red Queen and Sabaa Tahir, author of An Ember in the Ashes; a presentation from Eoin Colfer, author of the Artemis Fowl series; and a round table discussion with authors Adam Silvera, Nicola Yoon, and Julie Murphy.

Returning authors include Veronica Roth (Divergent series), David Levithan (Hold Me Closer), Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl (Beautiful Creatures), and Cinda Williams Chima (Flamecaster, The Heir Chronicles). First-time authors include Grady Hendrix (My Best Friend’s Exorcism), Jesse Andrews (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), Susan Dennard (the Witchland series), and Katharine McGee (The Thousandth Floor).
